I am FUCKING EXCITED right now. More than I expected to be considering my [what i thought was] general apathy towards this season.

I voted the full two hours last night. I'm pretty sure it was over 2000 times. For who? For Kris!

You know why? (Which some of you, evidently, don't)

Kris is the definition of Kara's favorite thing: an artist. He knows exactly who he is, and won't budge for anyone. He doesn't go out there acting like God's gift to America [like a certain other person who, oh, went home tonight] and, even though he can't do the vocal acrobatics that Adam can, he has talent. I'm not a fan of Adam, but I know he's talented, and no one can deny he's been original. So I'm not shitting bricks over the fact that he's in the final. I would be, however, if Danny had made it, because I can't actually think of a performance of his right now that was both vocally pleasing and original. Yes, he's a good singer, and there were performances that I liked. They were exactly like the original, but I'm not picky enough to be completely turned off by that. For Kris, my mind is already accumulating the likes of Remember the Time, Ain't No Sunshine, She Works Hard for the Money, and, oh my gosh, Heartless as excellent examples of him bring original. I can't name Adam's, but they're there.

The judges talk about relevancy. Adam, if he goes about it right, can obviously be relevant. As for Kris, he has an odd mix of Michael Buble and Jason Mraz that makes him different, but still [to beat a dead horse] relevant. Danny... well, maybe I'm blind, but I can't see him doing much other than Christian radio and stuff they play on the Lite stations.

SO LEE CALLED ME LAST NIGHT.

ME- "HEY, YOU CALLED?"
LEE- "TWO THINGS. ONE, HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE ME? AND TWO, HOW CRAZY ARE YOU?"

Okay, so we were making plans the other night, to go to Virginia in order to visit my Aunt Anna.

David Cook is going to be at Virginia Beach on May 30th, which, if I can convince my dad spending 57 bucks a pop would be worth it for me to spend not-with-the-family, could happen.
